I own a couple dogs, but my favorite is the one who is slouching right next to me as I type. He is a golden retriever we call Jack. His full name is Jumping Jack Flash - and he likes to prove how well chosen that name is. He was the puppy who would climb up on furniture and then spring off into infinity to land two or three feet away. He was either fearless or truly deluded into thinking that he could indeed fly.
I'm currently training him in obedience (Novice B), and hope to get a title on him this year (2010). If you are wondering what I'm doing when not updating blogs... that's just one of my real life hobbies.
